It all began with a shared vision…

… redefine the eyewear industry and create a brand that celebrates clarity, style, and inclusivity.

Tyler, a passionate social entrepreneur and Impact Entrepreneurship Fellow at Parsons School of Design, has always been captivated by the intersection of fashion and social impact. Frustrated by the lack of stylish, well-fitting eyewear for Black eyewear users, she set out to challenge the status quo. Her mission was clear—to build a brand that not only looked good, but felt good.

As Tyler began assembling a team, she reached out to universities across Manhattan searching for like-minded innovators. That’s when she crossed paths with Tolu: a driven Masters candidate in Biotechnology and Entrepreneurship at NYU Tandon School of Engineering.

When Tolu received Tyler’s email about an opportunity to join a social venture revolutionizing eyewear, she didn’t hesitate. With a background in project management and a hunger to apply her entrepreneurial skills, Tolu saw the potential to make a real impact.

From their very first conversation, Tolu and Tyler realized they shared more than just a passion for entrepreneurship—they shared a vision for the future.

Eyewear is more than just a necessity; it’s a statement of identity, empowerment, and innovation.

Together, they founded ĖNDIRĖ Eyewear, a brand built on the belief that everyone deserves eyewear that fits flawlessly, looks incredible, and reflects their unique story.

Today, they are proud to lead ĖNDIRĖ Eyewear as it grows into a movement—one frame at a time.

“We began as founders, and have now built a strong sisterhood with an unstoppable entrepreneurial prowess.

This is only the beginning.”
